Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

We offer a safe and wholesome after school environment for kids ages 5 through 18 to have fun and learn each day. During summer months, we offer a day camp for our youth to stay active, engaged, and learning when school is out of session. Our professional staff and dedicated community partners deliver a comprehensive array of high quality educational, social, and recreational programs.

Academics

BGCPP provides educational and career programs that focus on academic enrichment, school engagement, targeted dropout prevention and intensive intervention and case management. Our aim is to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.

College Readiness for Teens. With the generous support of Toyota Financial Services, Diplomas to Degrees (d2D), provides a range of services that guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success.

Health & Wellness

Features age-appropriate modules (6-8, 9-12 and teens) to teach Club members about nutrition and healthy living. It was designed to equip youth with the skills to make healthier choices by participating in fun and engaging learning activities at the Club and at home. The program also encourages members to take steps toward positive behavior changes.

Character & Leadership

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.

Aquatics

Provides swim lessons to kids ages 6-18 and certifies their training through the Red Cross. In addition, our swim team provides over 50 kids the opportunity to compete in USA Swimming sponsored meets.

Looking for a fun outlet for your child during the summer that is safe, supervised and affordable? In addition to the after-school programs for which Boys & Girls Club is known, we offer full-day camps during the summer in Paterson and Passaic.
