Schools Out: The Numbers are in!
All school year, the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic provided a safe space for kids to learn and have fun after school while parents work. Thanks to your support, here’s how we made a difference – together- in the lives of Club Kids!
A Great Summer for Dareli
This summer, 4th grader Dareli is excited to dance, do art and play basketball with her friends. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
School’s out, but in July our doors will be open to over 600 kids like Dareli for our full-day Summer Camp! Kids learn and have fun, and parents can work knowing their kids are safe and cared for by our trained staff.
Kids ages 5-13 are engaged in academics, athletics, games, STEM, literacy, art, dance – and having lots of FUN! Teen interns in our Future Leaders Club prepare for and explore college, trade school and career options via field trips and coaching from mentors.

Garden to Table Treats
Earlier this month, Club Kids savored some summer salsa they made with ingredients they grew in the Club garden, thanks to our partnership with City Green NJ City Sprouts youth programs!
City Green staff have been teaching Club members how to grow fruits and vegetables – like the strawberries, radishes and scallions used to make this tasty salsa!
The spring growing season is almost over, but there are plenty of fresh veggies left to harvest – and more yummy garden-to-table delicacies to eat! Stay tuned!

Back to School Bash is BACK!
This August, join us for our 2nd Annual Back to School Bash and help prepare over 1,000 Club Kids for the new school year!
While kids need backpacks and school supplies to feel confident and prepared for school, many also need new school uniforms, new shoes, and haircuts – the cost of which can really add up for families. At the Back to School Bash, all of these items are provided at no cost to Club Kids, thanks to our generous community and corporate partners.
