Be a VoluntHERO
A BGCPP original event returns in 2023. Show our Club Kids your superpowers and join us for some super-charged activities designed to highlight the value of literacy, healthy habits, STEM, arts, and more!
Corporate VoluntHEROes are invited to visit and connect with Club Kids, ages 5-13 during Spring Break and/or Summer Camp. You can choose from the list of sessions below – or customize a session of your own! You will then be paired with a group of Club members and their staff leader for a fun-filled hour.
Available VoluntHERO sessions:
- Reading Hero: Is reading your VoluntHERO superpower? Promote the power of literacy by reading along with a group of Club members, as well as playing reading games and icebreakers.
- STEM Hero: You’re a STEM hero if your superpowers are in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. Enable the next generation of innovators by joining Club Kids for technology and STEM-based activities.
- Creative Arts Hero: Is skill or appreciation for arts, crafts, and/or hobbies your superpower? Foster creativity and individuality by sharing it with out Club Kids. Join them for arts and crafts, music lessons, and hobbies sessions.
- Health Hero: If your interests lie in health, wellness, fitness, or nutrition, then you’re a Health Hero! Encourage Club members to build lifelong health habits by joining them in fitness, wellness, or nutrition-based activities.
Each session is one hour long. Activities are curated by our experienced Club staff to ensure that the FUNdamentals of learning and engagement take place for all involved!
Participation in this event provides Club Kids with the tools, positive relationships, and resources that enable Great Futures.
