Make a Difference and Volunteer!

Volunteers bring new experiences, skills, resources – and friendly faces – to our Club and help build Great Futures for the children and youth of Paterson and Passaic. When you volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, our goal is for our Club Kids – and you – to have a meaningful, positive and FUN experience! We strive to create a space for purposeful, interactive volunteer engagement that aligns with our goals and supports our curriculum and programs.  Learn more and join us!

Academic Tutoring Program

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with our Youth (Grade K-7) and Teen (Grade 8-12) Tutoring programs on a weekly basis. Volunteers will assist our tutoring staff and opportunities are available on Saturdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm and some evenings. Volunteers for this program must be 21 and older and are subject to a background check.

Saturday Study Snacks

Help fuel young minds during our Saturday Academic Tutoring sessions by providing Saturday Study Snacks! Every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 150 kids in grades K-7 come to our Paterson and Passaic Clubhouses for academic support and enrichment. This program focused on strengthening math and literacy skills is offered FREE to students in both cities. We need volunteers to purchase, donate and drop off healthy snacks to ensure students have nutrition to stay focused and energized for learning!

Club Blue is an active network of emerging leaders age 21-40 that supports our mission through volunteerism, networking and advocacy, making a difference in the lives of youth in our community.
