Holiday Toy Drive and Celebration

The holidays are almost here, but there’s still time to help make the season merry and bright for Paterson and Passaic children by supporting our annual Holiday Toy Drive and Celebration!

On December 14, our Club will be transformed into a winter wonderland of fun and surprises that will delight our Club Kids and their families! Every child will receive a new, festively wrapped toy from Santa and a book, and families will receive food and other necessities. Storytime with Santa, a holiday sing-a-long and dance party, photo ops for families, hot cocoa and cookies, and some surprise special guests are just some of the festivities planned.

Girls with #Goals Kickoff Retreat

Over 30 teen girls, many new to our Club, gathered at Tarrytown House Estate in Westchester for the Girls With #Goals kickoff retreat. The day included mindful yoga and empowering workshops focused on leadership, self-reflection, and building strong group connections.

By the end of the retreat, these Girls With #Goals weren’t just feeling motivated—they were ready to take on the world with the confidence and self-awareness every future leader needs to take charge of her future!

A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Board Members

We are excited to announce three recent additions to our Board of Directors, each bringing valuable experience and a commitment to empowering Paterson and Passaic youth.

Kenneth Martin is a Managing Director at Bank of America’s Global Risk Management organization with 30 years of experience in financial services. A dedicated volunteer and mentor, Ken’s leadership will help enrich our community service efforts for local youth.

Tanya Helfand is a Certified Matrimonial Attorney with 28 years of experience in Family Law and Divorce. Tanya ran her own practice for 25 years before joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King LLP in 2022. Her expertise and dedication will be a great asset to our mission.

Stanley Plewa brings over 24 years of experience as a Learning & Development Program Manager at Columbia Bank. A passionate advocate for local youth, Stan is deeply committed to creating opportunity for Paterson and Passaic youth.

We look forward to Ken, Tanya and Stan’s contributions in shaping our Club’s future and building #GreatFutures for the youth we serve.
